I keep forgetting that this story is supposed to be written in present tense. Gah. There's so little motivation being put into this story I'm thinking of just deleting it altogether. I don't have any ideas left.
Sorry it's so short, I just kind of wanted to push this story along. 'So, I continued on my journey to God knows where. It is still hazy, my memory...' Oded pulls a hand over his eyes, staring into the sun. And all of a sudden a great shadow comes over him.
'And somewhere along the way, you found me.' The shadow says.
I look up, and it's a girl. Probably about eighteen, or older. It is hard to tell, for her face is hardened. Like a warrior, trained to fight, her eyes show a person much older than what she really looks like. Her skin is incredibly tanned, much like Oded, and she stands with her arms akimbo.
She bends over him to say, 'And then you left, you sniveling arsehole.'
I look back at Oded, and he looks incredibly frightened. If I concentrate, I am pretty sure he is twitching uncontrollably, but just slightly. What kind of a girl is she, to frighten Oded so much?
She glances my way, as though she has suddenly noticed my presence. Without really thinking about it, I shy away. She straightens up and bellows, 'What are you doing? Get back here, you little runt!'
And I do. Even though I didn't want to, my body moves back. She runs a hand through her hair, and smiles at my confusion.
'I have the power of absolute control,' she says. 'I can make people do what I want, see? So you better listen to my orders!'
Oded sighs.
...Yeah. That's all I got. Anyway, the girl's power really isn't "Absolute Order", it's actually more along the lines of telekinesis in that she can control a person as long as s/he can hear her by shouting out orders. This means that she can only control beings that can hear and
understand her, or her language enough to process the meaning.Labels: Bitto, Generic Storyline
