First, the GENERAL RULES.
ONE. Please have a title for your story.
TWO. This is the format for post titles. FOLLOW IT.

Your Story Title; Part XX/End/Prologue/Epilogue
(Where applicable. Remember the semicolon.)

THREE. Please do not be an idiot and update the same story every five minutes. You can reserve a part, but give others a chance to add their own parts.
FOUR. LABEL your posts with the full story title and your name. If you're not adding parts, then it's just your name. There is a little thing by the side of the "label" box called "Show all". It is recommended that you use that, because I don't want to see a person having three or four different labels. Same with story titles.

Right. I think that's it for the important stuff.
Now, the THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND.
ONE. It is perfectly okay to swear. Nobody is allowed to criticise a story just because it contains words that go against your "morals".
TWO. You don't have to rewrite the title of your story in the post itself.
THREE. Try to keep pictures within 500 pixels.
FOUR. You can use this if you want to make text indents.

The code disappears when you go into "Compose" mode, though, so you will have type solely in "Edit HTML" mode. No way around it, unfortunately. Not that I've found.
FIVE. There is no <blockquote>. Okay, there is, but it only shrinks the text box to 300 pixels wide.
SIX. If you want to use just the "Edit HTML" mode, here's some basic codes if you don't already know.

<b>Bold.</b> <i>Italics.</i>
<u>Underline.</u> <s>Strikeout.</s>

Alternatively, there's always the (Ctrl + B), (Ctrl + I) and (Ctrl + U) method.

OTHER THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND.
ONE. Whenever a character named JOHN SMITH appears in the story, he must be, by the end of the story, (a) a vampire, AND (b) dead.

In the cases that the story has been established to NOT contain elements of fantasy, then John Smith will contract a disease/mental illness that either resembles vampirism, or makes him think that he is a vampire. A good example of a physical illness is Porphyria. Heck, even Anaemia works. And yes, I spell "Anemia" as "Anaemia". Shut up.

Remember, research can help you out a lot here.

And I think that's pretty much it. Yes, I know I'm being awfully anal about this. If anyone has any other questions, comment on this post and I'll try to help out.
