Please note that while it is okay to come up with your own story, please give the other authors a blooming chance to continue it, instead of updating it yourself practically everyday.

The whole point and significance of The Great Story Project, again I repeat, is to have everyone coming together to work on a story and complete it. A joint effort, in other words. Not to exploit the chance to publish your very own story here. This is not meant to be a collection of different stories by different people. It is supposed to be many people coming together to write a story. So in this case, we have several stories that you can choose from to continue. Try writing different parts of every story. Stop doing your own things already.

Every author, kindly refer back to the rules. Not just the format to keep in mind, please be aware of this tradition that we have that is mentioned in the particular post above. This is a tradition the founders have started ever since we started the Project in class, on pen and paper by hand. Not something thought of on a whim when we started the site; it had been thought up before the site existed.

Also note that a 'John Smith' has appeared in 'The Silly Story' but anyone is free to use him as a character in whatever story (and part) they are writing, as long as the tradition is adhered to. And remember: John Smith dies by the end of the story.

Also, the tally is updated every weekend.
