When I returned to class, I was surprised to find a note on my table.
Unrolling the note, it read:
Stay away from Meyrin or I will make you sorry!! D.
Huh. I thought to myself. Suddenly, Meyrin's betrayal didn't seem that much of a big deal anymore. I guess she wasn't as perfect as I'd thought her to be. At least I had a friend in Lina, and knowing that was comforting enough. Still, I missed Meyrin and the happy moments we shared together. Come on, it was a relationship of one year after all. How can you expect me to completely forget about Meyrin and all the memories? Which was why I decided to drop by the beach we used to frequent together after school. To find solace, to find back that lost feeling, or any other reasons, I don't know. I just felt my inner voice telling me to.
When I arrived at the beach, I saw a solitary figure standing at the spot where Meyrin and I always sat down at. A very familiar figure which I identified as... Meyrin! Seeing her made my heart leap but it left me feeling baffled as well. What was Meyrin doing here? Did I actually dare hope that she still loved me?
I decided to walk up to her...
